Amanda Maffett

Hi! My name is . . .

Amanda Maffett

Thanks for stopping by!

This will be my 7th year teaching here at Wolftever Creek Elementary.

I graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development & Learning and from UTC with a Masters in Special Education K-12. I have been married to my husband for 7 years and we have 2 boys - Austin and Jackson - we live here in the Ooltewah area. We really enjoy sports, singing and taking family trips.

My first 5 years with WCE, I was working with special education. This is my 2nd year in the BRIDGE classroom and where I work with students K-2nd grade from the Harrison Bay Learning Community who need additional behavior interventions. I really enjoy teaching summer camps with our students as well: I have been a teacher with Wolftever's Read to be Ready camps and have taught 2nd grade the past 2 summers for our REACH program!

I really look forward to working closely with our students and providing more direct emotional, mental and behavioral instruction while they are at our school!
